OUR LOCAL SUPPLIERS

Pie Revolution is operated by Reuben Crookbain and Danny Rondeau.

Makers of quality savoury pies and sausage rolls, we hand make small batch pies to keep the flavour and standard high. We use organic flour, herbs, spices and organic or ethically raised local meats. We make our own puff pastry and the buttery flakiness really compliments our full flavoured pies and sausage rolls. Our pies are available frozen or fresh.

 VALHALLA VEGGIE BURGER

Teresa Smed has been bringing her local, organic and wild homemade food, farm fresh produce and medicinal salves to the Slocan Valley for 8 years.  She and her family have a market garden where they grow many of their organic ingredients.  They also enjoy wild-harvesting mushrooms, flowers and herbs to bring our bountiful forest food to the local community and tourist markets.  Teresa is excited to be offering her Gourmet Veggie Burgers to the Slocan Valley after her veggie burgers were well received at the Hot Box Cafe where she and her partner, Lee, grilled them up at the Slocan Saturday Market and at the Slocan Baseball Concession at Expo Park.  Take them home and enjoy on the stove top, on the grill or on an open fire across the lake.

 CASA TERRA FARM

Owned and operated by Clara Woroschuk.

Casa Terra, Latin for home and earth... a name which accurately reflects what our farm is… bounty from the earth and bounty from the kitchen. Eight years ago I quit my office job in Winnipeg, sold my house and bought a farm in the Slocan Valley. We live simply, grow a lot of our own food and preserve our food in the same tradition taught to me by my Baba. You can also find us at the farmers market in Nakusp and Nelson with fresh garden produce, jams and jellies, pickles and preserves, borscht and more!
