  1. A rental commercial kitchen that serves as a home base for local food businesses and as a venue used by community members/groups to host educational workshops, food events and pop up restaurants.

  2. An artisanal café (open 9am-3pm Fri. Sat. Sun) that retails goods made by the businesses/groups who use the kitchen. As a result, the products sold here are fresh, locally produced, seasonal and ever evolving.

The Valley Kitchen is a family business operated by Rob Hay and Sally Titasey. This couple possesses over 20 years of collective food industry experience. They have worked in restaurant service and management, run a festival food truck operation, catered all styles of events and have previous experience renovating and managing a large share kitchen in Calgary, AB.

 

Having moved to the Slocan Valley in 2011, Rob and Sally have immersed themselves in the local food scene and enjoy growing and processing their own food. They recognized a need for affordable commercial kitchen space and are excited to be able to offer up such a thing to food businesses, community groups and local individuals.
